I experienced the horror of looking down at my 2 Greyhounds that I was walking to see only one. I had taken my glove off at some point in the walk and unbeknown to me I had unhooked one lead and it had dropped to the floor. I then carried on walking as did the girls. I only realised when I looked round at them to see I only had one! She had turned down a side road when we didn't. Luckily I noticed pretty quickly and she hadn't gone far. Fortunately she didn't freak out and run with her lead dangling or bolt into the road when the kind passer by tried to catch her.
So, it can happen to anyone no matter how careful you are.
I have also heard many stories of dog thieves grabbing leads or pushing people over. I also often wondered what would happen if I fell and let go of the lead. So, now I don't need to worry any more and neither do you!
A wrist strap is inbuilt into the lead so that you can slip it onto your wrist and tighten up to give you extra peace of mind.
This would also be useful to assist if you don't have a strong grip, need hands free on occasions when out with the dogs or you fear dropping the lead like I did.
This lead must not be used if your would not wrap a lead around your wrist or your dog is likely to pull hard or suddenly as this could cause injury.
You could thread your belt through the wrist strap before putting it on as well if you are concerned about it being attached to your wrist.
This is ideal if you walk one dog and would like a new lead. If you have more than one dog to walk or would prefer to use your own lead(s) then take a look at the Lead Secure™ https://littlepinkdogcollars.ecwid.com/Wrist-Strap...
We are always pleased to meet new friends, so we are glad that you called in. Let me introduce ourselves.
We are a husband and wife team. I am Julia, I organise and arrange the designs as well as the social media. If you chat to us it will be me chatting back. Steve uses his embroidery and sewing talents to create beautiful pieces for you to enjoy. We are also dog lovers and are owned by our Lurcher and two Greyhounds, so we understand the need for well made safe and reliable collars.
The artwork for our own collars is unique and exclusive to us, so you won't find these anywhere else. We have designs from very talented artists that we are proud to work with. We also have a range of designs that have been donated to raise funds so that we can support dog rescues and individuals at times of extra financial burden. We channel these funds through our own group Broocie's Fundraising which can be viewed through the link.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/broociesfundraising. This group will give you a taste of our activities and the dogs that we have been able to help.
Enough about us, let's hear about you and your dogs. We love to see photographs uploaded to our page particularly if they are wearing their new collars! If we can help you in any way we welcome your questions and look forwards to creating something bespoke and beautiful for you.
